In our efforts to develop high-value-added business within this economic climate, SUNCORPORATION continues to actively create new products, promote the planning and research of new businesses, enhance operating efficiency, reduce costs to improve profitability, and clearly differentiate itself from other companies.
All of these activities are undertaken with a firm adherence to the corporate slogan and vision of SUNCORPORATION: to “Dream, Challenge, and Create” These efforts have resulted in the following business performance for the current period: net sales, 11,132 million yen (down 10.3% from the previous period); operating income, 708 million yen (down 13.8%); current profits, 765 million yen (down 42.1%); and current net earnings, 514 million yen (down 51.5%).
We forecast strong growth in the industries of our company group, especially pachinko, content, information, and telecommunication, with the ongoing spread of high-speed, large-capacity, low-priced internet services via optical fiber and the technological advancement of mobile devices (image, sound).
We therefore expect our business opportunities to steadily increase.
We will accurately grasp the demand trends of related markets such as content distribution services, and we will be among the first to bring high-value-added products and services to the market.
